Hi just purchased a robin hood 2b with a 2 litre sierra engine and gear box. The speedo drive is directly in line with a chassis strut, the cable was bent at 90 degrees and has snapped, does anyone know if and where i could get a 90 degree adapter.

Burtons do them, but they are stupidly expensive..

 

worth considering re-routing the speedo cable to reduce the kink (increase the the radius of the cable bend)

 

ours goes through the tunnel side, and across the footwell (under a slab of kitchen work surface - as a false floor)

Angle drive for gearbox are cheaper at Westfield Parts Store , plus comes complete with a cable for £73-04 , Burtons are £99.99 just for the angle drive .

Possible worth doing but still not cheap !
