<_< Ihave chance of a 1990(H reg)Sierra Sapphire, with what i've been told has a CVH engine. Is this a Pinto in disguise or a totaly different beast???

Is this going to be a normal fitting or does it mean problems??I'm aware of the Pinto cos I'm running a S7 CORTINA based RS 2l based car now Should I buy or say bye-bye,regards REX.L

The CVH is totally different to the Pinto.

If it's a CVH then it's most probably a 1.8 litre - the 2.0 litre engines by this time were the DOHC type.

The inlet and exhaust manifolds are reversed as compared to the Pinto and the shape of the engine is different.
