finally finished replacing the engine and other mods. No more smoke and a lot more resonsive to the throttle ( Thanks Martin for your generosity)

 

A drive out in it today was a joy and with the screen fitted I managed to keep up with the traffic with out crying

Anouther CVH while I save up for the next engine as I'm not overly impressed with the performance. I've also modified the engine bay so I could upgrade to a zetec like Dandan's.

He popped over to mine after Peterborough, I had a 1.8 CVH and wasn't sure that it was the engine I wanted, so I offered it up.

 

Not sure how much the shopping trip in Birmingham cost though

 

Of course, now I have to put a different engine in mine
