Seat And Harness Fixing

They could be but they are then at the wrong angle to come up the side of the seats and may well be in the way of the seat mounts. But whatever way you fit them as Ian says unless the fixing can be removed by one person i.e. can easily reach both the nut and bolt at the same time then the nut has to be welded in place.

Ahhhhh, I see what you're saying.

So, a bit of leftover angle iron from the seat mountings under the car bolted on with a couple of solid bolts and fix the harness to it.

Sorted.

:D

For SVA you need to be able to get to the bolts and nuts using one person, any nut you cant get to should be replaced with a welded on captive nut, best to use the proper seat belt bolts with top hats and washers with captive nut plates as found in Demon Tweeks catalogue or Rally Design
