2004 MK INDY

Only 3300 miles on a totaly rebuilt 2ltr Ford Pinto engine, gearbox and LSD.

This engine uses the Ford 205 block. It also has an unleaded (fuel injection type) cylinder head.

This is not a thrown together track day car! I have reciepts for approx £13000.

She's only ever been used as a sunny day fun road car and I'm asking £8750. The car has an insurance agreed value of £8000. So I figure she must actualy be worth more?

MOT till June 2009

No Tax (Sorn) but I'll have to tax her before selling inorder to get my private plate off.

The cars spec is huge, including

Fully adjustable Gaz shocks all round

Chromed front suspension fitted with poly bushes

Toyo proxies T1S tyres with Ultraseal puncture preventative fitted.

Raven racing silencer on a stainless manifold "Sounds Fantastic!" :0)

Conversion to Kawasaki Ninja bike carbs on a custom made stainless manifold

with an adjustable fuel pressure regulator (Better performance than a pair of

Weber 45's but you still get 26-30mpg average unlike the Webers)

Shorter sump conversion for better ground clearance plus a handmade sump guard

for extra peace of mind over speed bumps etc

Custom made (AC Cobra style) dashboard

Removeable doors / side screens

The car is painted to a very high standard in the same mettalic blue used on

the old Cosworth Escorts.

Alarm & seperate Insurance approved immobiliser

Small but fully carpeted & lockable boot (Not a feature often found on these

cars)

Adjustable seats so any driver or passenger from 4.5' to 6.5' should be able to

find a comfortable driving/seating position?

3 point race spec safety belts

Etc Etc

I have no idea what the BHP or 0-60mph figures are as I've never had the car on

a rolling road. However I do know she's got more power than you can safely use

on most roads and is more fun to drive than most cars this side of £100,000

This is just a brief rundown of the spec. I have several files of info inc

photos of the build. So if you need more info please feel free to call me on

07958 632588 or mail

The car has a private number plate at present that I'll need to remove once a

sale has been agreed. However the car will come with a proper plate "Not a Q

plate"

The car has no known faults and is only for sale due to lack of use. I'm in

Northampton approx 6 miles from M1 Jct 15a. If your a serious buyer I'll be

glad to show you round the car. She's not taxed at the moment but we may be able to go for a quick spin around the block?

I'm going back to motorcycles for the time being but I hope to be back to the 7 replicas at some point?

I can't get my pictures to load but if you email me I'll send you some via email.

Regards Jez

Hi Guys,

My MK went to it's new home in Southern Ireland last Friday.

I may still remain a member of RHOCaR and come to the meets and shows on my bike if that's ok?

During my time as a RHOCaR member I've meet some great people (aswell as a few idiots) :D So if it's possible for me to remain a member of the club that would be great.

Thanks to all of you that have offered help and advice over the years. It was "VERY MUCH APPRECIATED!"

I've owned a couple of Hoods and finaly defected to an MK Indy approx 2 years ago. I may well end up getting another 7 replica one day but since my better half got her own bike. All the sunny day motoring that we used the MK for got used for bike rides instead. So the poor old Mk Indy just didn't get used often enough to justify it's existance.

Thanks again guys and I hope to see you around soon?

Kind regards Jez
