;) anyone know what rad will fit in the nose cone , i have just bought a efi engine and the rad needs to have top and bottom hose conections and the little pipe as it will use a exspansion tank

ps the engine must be in the nose due to fitment of a intercooler :gdit:

Andy, What you need to do is measure the available space, then take a trip around the local scrapyard with your tape measure. Alternatively, take the measurements to your local radiator repair specialist (yellow pages) and see what he can come up with. If you can get them interested, they will cutomise a rad for you, ie, put the outlets facing the way that you want them etc.

I use 'Marston Zerck' (spelling) locally.

One of our lads has put a VW Polo rad into a 2B (depends on steering shaft!) see here.

You must have that kind of face that says "Rip me off!"

Bloody hell Billy-Boy! :o

I had a uprated, twin row, core from a V6 rad, built up with 'old' Escort top & bottom 'tanks' for £47 inc vat. OK, it was 4 years ago. I must have a natural charm or something. :)

It's your northern charm Jim, oozes out of every pore.......

I went to a local rad place.Had a chat with the 'old guy' who always knows best. They put a ford V6 core with cortina tanks blanked off the rad cap, added an out let to fill remotely from expansion tank, all for £40.

They can see that Bill has plenty of cash.

Not true Joey uses most of it :(

I must admit I thought it was a bit much at the time, best we look elsewhere then.
