They are legal now but the police get a bit snotty with you for having one.

My car was broken into whilst working in Birmingham and they pinched my first Cobra - I called the police to report the break-in, they were interested in coming to have a look until they found out what had been pinched. They then decided that I was not worth the time.......

I ordered and am using a Cobra 9210. Seems a good bit of kit, not sure about it picking up the flourescent yellow roadside revenue generators. I have been through 2 sets and nothing went off. Either they were switched off or the detector doesn't understand. I will keep an eye on this.

One thing I have noted is that it works better when completely level on dashboard.

It also picks up funny things like automatic door openers on supermarkets etc.

Andy,

I have the 9210 too - it does pick up the Gatso's, they show as K-band.

I have found that a lot of them are in fact not enabled.

The funniest thing I have found with it is if you are travelling with somebody who does not usually travel with you, you get the TOOT-TOOT train approaching warning - makes them jump out of their skin....

Stuart.
