For the benefit of all who plan to attend the RHOCaR AGM at Rolls Royce Sports and Social Club this Sunday evening 7th December, the following links to Multimap should prove useful.

 

I have done one link to start you from Junction 26 on the M1 and a second to show the street map level of the immediate area of the venue. You can use the zoom facilities on Multimap to fill in the gaps and print off sections as you require. If you are approaching other than by M1 use the Maps to work out your best route.

Print off these Directions to supplement the maps -

 

From M1 Junction 26

 

Take A610 Eastwards for approx 2/3 mile to Island.

 

Take first exit off island onto B600

 

Follow B600 for approx 3/4 mile (passing under Motorway after approx 1/4 mile)

 

In Nuthall village turn right into Watnall Road

 

Follow Watnall Road for approx 1 1/4 miles

 

Turn right into Long Lane ( B6009 )

 

In first 1/4 mile road twists right then left and crosses over Motorway after approx 1/2 mile. Follow this road for a further approx 1 mile after crossing Motorway. Turn right into second Rolls Royce Facility entrance which is almost opposite Avon Avenue.

 

Follow the driveway for approx 1/4 mile passing Clubhouse entrance and carpark on your left. At security gate make a left u-turn into carpark. Enter Clubhouse lobby by the door alongside the road. To get beyond the lobby you will have to press the button at the side of the door and the steward will 'buzz' you in.

 

Once inside the main Club room, walk past the bar (difficult I know but you CAN do it ! ! ) turn right and we are in the Merlin Room which is effectively behind the bar you just passed.
