New Sva Test Stations?

Joel

Recommended Posts

I've just downloaded an SVA application form, and I see in the list of test stations they now list some "independent authorised test laboratories". Does that mean I can list, say Birmingham (official) as my number 1 choice, and MIRA (Independent) as my number 2 choice??

Hi Joel,

I noticed that too and conveniently there's two in my home town. I noticed that they all have their specialities i.e. emissions only and the like.

I wonder, if you fail on seat belt anchorages for example, would you be able to take it to one of these test labs for the re-rest ?

Probably not knowing my luck.

Cheers

Keith

The specialist stations are just that , required for when specialised proof is required , usually to do with grey imports to prove compliance or as part of the stricter ESVA test.
