Hi,

I have emailed everyone on the Devon and Cornwall emailing list but in case some email addys are out of date and to catch anyone else we are looking to try and organise a couple of meetings over the summer, drive over the moors, tyre kicking session etc and have had a positive response from 8 members to date.

 

If you would be interested please let me know, pm me your email adress and I will add you to the mailing list and add your tag to this topic.

 

The Latest email sent was as below -

 

Couple of possible dates that might be of interest now we have a bit of sunshine –

 

April 19th – Chedder Gorge meeting and run organised by the Piston Heads forum, mainly high powered sports cars (Vipers, Diablo, TVR's etc)

 

June 6th – Castle Combe Classic Sports Car Action day – we could get a club stand and discounted entry if there is interest? Track time consists of escorted runs or open sessions; trade stands loads of other clubs etc and we have a volunteer to organise if there is interest

 

All thoughts comments most welcome.

The weather has been great down here lets hope it lasts!!

Seeing this post I have just realised that I didn't reply to your e-mail at the begining of the year. I would be interested in meeting up with other hoodies in the area so I would like to kept informed of your plans and i'll let you know if I hear of anything else that could be of interest.

Follow up on this one -

 

Two of us made it to the Piston Heads meeting, albiet I was not in my hood, over 100 cars turned out so a good day for petrol heads. (pics and videos in my sign page links)

 

The Castle Combe date draws closer, flyer was in the mag to promote, and we need names and details of those that are willing to put their car on the stand, I have emailed again to the adresses I have but in case you do not receive please pm me your Name and Reg number so we can register your details.

 

It currently looks like a small stand with space for upto 6 cars, leaving people to book their own track time etc. Steve Brice is organising I will pass any contacts onto him.
