update. I now have my engine in, converted the type 9 to hydraulic clutch, fitted new pedal box from tweeks, What rad do you guys use?

 

Also what alternator did you use steve?

Rad on mine is from a seat marbella, very small but does the job, your existing rad should be ok though if its the coolman from Robin Hood.

alternator is the standard xe one, moved to exhaust side on home made bracket, bolted to the block just below the timing mark pointer.
