Twin Webers

Just fitted a pair of webers to my 2B 1600 pinto. It wont rev past about 2000 rpm.The carbs were used when bought and I think came from a 1800 Alpha.

I'm thinking they will need re- jetting, if you agree can you suggest correct jet sizes etc.

Theres a jetting programme here on DVA's page that may give you some idea. You can't beat a rolling road session though.

Andy, sell them again and get either a 38 DGAS or a 32/36 DGAV

 

(I shall now duck for cover from those people that have twin Webers on their Pinto's but don't do any mileage..........'cause they can't afford the bloody petrol they drink!!!!!)

If you want twin 45's do do reasonable mpg you need to take your screen off. Bob managed 25+ at quick motorway speeds.

And a normal tank full, with a varied selection of use, town & playing will give you more like 17 mpg (if you're lucky)

I don't do enough miles a year to worry about economy, I have a Picasso for that!!!!!
