Sliding Pillar Conversion

Can anyone recommend someone in the South East that would be capable of converting my sliding pillock to wishbone?

 

I got Georgie on the road at the weekend and although I've only done a couple of hundred miles, I have no confidence whatsoever in the front end. On 2 occassions she has sniffed a bump in the road and jumped out of the way in a most unsettleing manner.

 

Has anyone used a company in the South East (or near)?

Have you thought of uprating the front springs to something a bit stiffer? Put 300lb springs on mine and made a huge difference.

The only company who supply & fit at the moment are GBS themselves.

I spoke with GBS and they wanted £300 which is outside my budget.

 

I've picked up a conversion kit off ebay and am trying to get a clear idea of how to approach this.

 

Anyone fancy helping out, I would be grateful (beer and curry )
