Cutting And Shaping Fibreglass

Hi all

 

Looking like I might finally get my zero on it's wheels next weekend. Yiippee. Next task is to get the grp parts fitted. What is the best way to cut and shape the grp? Thanks

I used a jig saw (no, not the kiddies 10 piece one) with a fine metal blade, it eats the blades so keep them changed.

i have been useing a dremel with various cutting and sanding bits. cutting discs make very light work of cutting and seem to last good . sanding drums give give a good finish and are easy to control

I used and angle grinder with a 2mm cutting disc followed up with a powerfile.

 

It was scary but produced a chip free cut.
