Mk4 Fiesta Heater Control Valve

Hi everyone, Can someone please advise me as to the best way to wire the fiesta heater control valve to allow me to turn it on and off via a button on the dash. I know its only 2 connectors but I don't want to blow it up Being only 2 I presume its +/- but does it need constant supply to be on/off or will I need some sort of timed power to move from one position to the other and then turn off. over to you.......
