It has nothing to do anymore with what you drive or the age of it as much as the potential payout for personal injury, I used to sell insurance and there used to be leeway for a number of things. I recently gave up work and a company car of 8 years, never hd an accident, could I insure a 97 rover 620??? At 34, married with kids the first quote I got was £2,500, finally got it down to £350 comp with Frank Pickles.

 

Shop, Shop and shop some more, but forget websites if you want a bargain!!!! Haggle on the phone
