Limtied Slip Differential Conversion

Can i swap my standard sierra 2.0 litre diff for a LSD from a cosworth. If so will I require different drive shafts. My 2bplus uses the rear IRS unit from a 1989 seirra.

It is a farley easy mod but does need lobro jointed drive shafts. If your car has discs on the rear then it will already have lobro joints. But have a read of this and this

as long as you use the same size diff: usualy 7"

The Cosworth diffs from the 2wd version are usually 7 1/2 inch so will not fit your diff mount, some 4x4wd Cosworths and Cosworth Saphires were 7 inch diffs, all the non Cosworth 4x4wd were 7 inch, 3.6 for the V6 and 3.9 for the rare but desirable DOHC 2.0L 4x4.

I have not yet seen a push fit LSD, all are usually LOBRO
