Guest MarkB

the end where the notch is needs to be folded back on its self, soin respects the bend should start halfway through the big notch on top and on the lower part of the panel he will see a tiny little notch where the bend starts on the bottom.... confused?? i was... i will try and find some pics

Having just fitted my rear panel I understand your problem. I have at least 4 cm between the bottom of the cut out and the chassis rail after final positioning. I wish I had left more as pushing it that high creates a sharper curve (almost leading to a kink at the start of the fold on the flat part) in the bottom of the panel. You will still need to fold the panel back on it self or do something else to stiffen it as it has to support the weight of the wing.

As Algee says it needs to be bent back on itself by being rolled round a piece of tube using the large notch and the small bottom one as a guide. These notches should end up exactly half way round the bend
