Does anyone have a wiring diagram for the ford chip key from a 1996 ish mondeo , got all the gear but not a clue how to connect pick up ring to ECU

Are you after the four wire connection from the external pat to the ECU?

60 pin ECU (EEC V):

 

No 1 on the transponder to +

No 2 to ground

No 3 to pin 38 on ECU

No 4 to pin 5 on ECU

You will need numbering order on ecu and wire colours though and I haven't personally tried this.
