Not really a problem.

 

You will need a pinto flywheel, type 9 / mt75 box with bell housing, gear stick and all the clutch stuff obviously.

 

Then throw away the "tin drive plate" bolted to the crank that the torque converter bolts to and fit a spigot bearing into the end of the crank.

 

The auto loom has bits that you wil l not need but if I built again I would use a "Premier loom "

hi peter

we spent 5 weeks trying to get a zetec to fire only to find out that it was from an auto .

the vr sensor on the auto zetec looks at the flex plate at a completly different angle to the manual flywheel

so wont fire , if its a zetec you need to change the vr sensor housing (thanks nigel )as well as the

other bits .

as said dont forget the spigott bearing in the end of the crank , also the flex plate bolts arnt the same as the flywheel bolts .
