Don't get an engineer going on pedantry. 1 Imperial gallon is 4.54609 litres. Cruising at 65, mine would have done 29.695849 miles on 5 litres. If you factor in depreciation/wear and tear etc on the golf, you might find the economics are no so bad. No contest on which would be most enjoyable ,as long as it stays dry ;-) Bri

Aslong as I stay at 67mph I should get the best mpg and the rain will just go around me correct ???
