Cheshire Kitcar Show

OK, this is on Sunday 23rd May, at Capesthorne Hall near Macclesfield, and Joderel bank. Usual times of opening 10pm until about 4-30pm.

It's not like your 'normal' kitcar show, It's more of a friendly gathering, there's only usually one or two kit manufacturers there (RHSC comes, Richard likes this show) a couple of tool stalls, stationary engines (What are they about??) usually the local Honda Gold Wing club turn up with their bikes, there's an arena with a few displays, ie. dog obedience etc. Then there's the TUG-O-WAR Now, a couple of years ago, we had 3 teams of Hoodies, and came 1st, 2nd, & 3rd, really pissing the locals off (& the other owners clubs..[scottie dogs!]) last year somehow it all went wrong, so all you guy's, bring your boots!

You can send the better half to go round the Hall. (Tell her if she likes it, you'll put in an offer!)

It's a nice relaxing show somehow.

 

To find the place, find Macclesfield, south of Manchester. Then find the A537 out westwards from Macclesfield, this road crosses the A34, turn south down the A34 for about ½ mile, and Capesthorne Hall is there.

(Jodrel Bank is just off the next road along the A537, the A535)

 

Obviously the NW gang will be there in force, so do come along. We will be coming from the oposite direction, coming off the M6 at jnt 19, anyone wanting to tag along with our convoy, keep your eye on our 2004 dates page for information.
