Does anyone recommend using the little Y shaped disk for the SVA or is it a waste of time

Dont know about the Y shaped disk, but i reduced my noise level from 102.8 (Fail) to 95.1 (pass) using what looks like the sink strainer they sell in Asda and a stainless pan cleaner total cost under a Quid.

Removed the exaust, pushed the pan cleaner into the end of the 4 into 1, and the strainer was tacked to the end of the silencer inlet and then linished with a flap wheel to fit back int the 4 into 1.

Removed it today just ground the welds of the strainer and started the engine with no exhaust to blow the pan cleaner out.

Am going out tomorrow to buy some ear plugs
