Arther said he will do a route if we want as it's his local stomping ground and knows some cracking roads in that area, as for meeting up how about the car park on the sea front next to the round about at Seaton Sluice

Near to NE26 4JX at 10-45 to leave at 10-55 as it's only 5 mins away.

That means you could stop in bed untill about 10-30 Luke :lazy: :yahoo:

I was going to come up to Seaton Delaval, but had one of the lads clutch needed adjustment so went to help, and by the time we had sorted it was 1.30pm.

As one of the lads we were meeting was from North Shields and he said it was still raining there we decided to go for a quick run further South for an hour or so.

We all met at Wingate weigh station, and set of towards Bishop Auckland, and the weather was fine, having a good time we went a bit further to Barnard Castle, still fine Middleton in Teasdale was very near. The roads were great so it seemed a shame not to go to Alston via some of the best driving roads in the North East, so thats where we went, As we got there it started raining so we stated to back towards home via Weardale Vally, again some of the best driving roads in Durham. Its then it started to rain heavy so tried to drive at a speed where it goes over the top, but with so much water on the roads, had to stop and fit the hood, must of been a comical sight seeing a fat fifty year old get into the car with roof on.

Set of from St Johns Chapple all warm and toastie and came back via Stanhope and Durham what ended up being a 130 mile round trip.

This must make my Hood a fast car to have done 130 miles in what was supposed to be a hours run out?

Sometimes the unplanned trips end up being the most fun!

Hears to a few more.
