Gearstick Mounting Cutting

On the mt75 I'm having to use the ford gearstick selector it need trimming down a bit to go up the tunnel and any one got any pic's or measurements of the cut down.

 

Cant squeeze the budget for the nice slim selector off kitspares.

 

How much shall I chop off

 

 

Got to make do!!!!

this is mine, hopefully you can see were i have cut the metal back (its in the car so cant measure it)

I also moved the selector balljoint housing back a wee bit and lengthened the selector arm.

Hi,my MT75 is in a 2B.You may have done this anyway but I got rid of the lift arrangement built into the gear lever and cut away the metal stop used to prevent accidental selection of reverse.
