Ok, although not very indepth this special notice highlights most of the major changes to the test scheme, there should be a web address to view the new testers manual on there as well

Just had a look, am I reading this correct that drivers seat must move back and forth or its a fail?

also if you have a tow bar with socket it must be wired the same as their test plug or fail?

 

might be reading it wrong though.

If it has a seat adjuster then it must work, we are able to test both 7 pin and 13 pin sockets and it must be wired to industry standard

Also, I have LED running lights on my tintop which come on with the ignition but stay on all the time same as new Audi and Mercs, are these now a fail because there is no switch?

Please note according to the amendments we are only supposed to test the operation of 13pin sockets... why i do not know, so we have asked the question to our VOSA enforcment officer and await his reply.
