Hi Guy's/Gals (or anyone who can help)

I have a 2b and i am about to fit the seats. Iam over 6ft tall so i will be removing the runners. The problem i have is how are people securing them to the car should i just use plates underneath the bolt's to spread the load (should i end up in a hedge backwards) or do i need to run a large steel strip accross the length of the underside of the kit. Any help would be gratefull.

I built a sub frame under the floor (see pic) This has the seats and centre seatbelt

mountings bolted to it.

Hi All

I put a strip of 4mm 1.5inch wide steel under the car with the ends bent up so they went over the outside harness mount holes. then the larger angle between the two dedion mounts.

 

Then went on bill/joeys site and copied their idea with the two inside harness mount's cheers guy's, this in turn attaches to the flat bar and the angle strengthing it some more.
