Happy New Year all....

 

'tis a new year and thoughts have already turned to the summer and my annual european road trip. Normally I do this on 2 wheels but now I have a shiny new Zero I'm intending to use the Zero.

 

So... Has anyone sourced/designed/built a spare wheel carrier to mount on a Zero ?

 

I know the 'norm' is to use a can of slime and a pump and carry an AA/RAC card.

 

However, in 35 years of motoring I can only remember 1 occasion when a car tyre went flat through something puncturing it, all the others have been holes chewed in the sidewall by kerbs or blocks of concrete in the middle of the motorway putting huge flat spots into the rims! Slime cant fix that!

 

I also seem to remember its a legal requirement in Spain (and Portugal?) to carry a spare - or have the ability to effect a complete repair.
