Redundant Indicator Lights

Finally getting around to fixing indicators.

 

After a day of tinkering, I am starting again. The problem is behind the dash in the relay / hazard / indicator part.

 

I have the superspec dash with I think an escort instrument cluster. I want to not use the indicator warning light on that, but put a new separate light in.

 

Will I pass an MOT, or does the light on the escort dash have to work? (can I just put a sign stuck to the dash, the light on cluster is not operational, use light above!?)

You don't need to do anything to the teltails in your instruments. The requirement is for a teltail visible to the driver and with the correct symbols.
