Vg To Efi Looms

can i join vg temp sensor conector wire into efi engine loom temp sensor cable that goes to the ecu?

 

(this applies to others too like the alternator blue wire)

The wire which or origionally was in the loom which went to the temp sensor on the engine head, didnt go to the ECU, it went straight to the dials, there is a seperate engine temp sensor from the EFI (locted near where the water pipe exits the EFI) unit which gives the ECU data about the engine temperature, there fore there is no need to do this as far as i can tell.
