Chassis/ Roll Bar Banging

I,me back,

 

got the engine up and running, couldnt resist taking it up the road, definitely needs set up, running like a bag of spanners. what I did notice was a banging in the back end, where the anti roll bar is connected to the axle there is only a very small gap between this point and the chassis and any small suspension movement makes them come together and bang, just wondered if anybody else had had the problem and found a simple cure.

any gap will bang / bash when on the move, might need new bushes

Peter2b I think you misunderstand what I mean, all bushes are brand new and there is no play. what I mean is that as you are driving and the suspension expands and contracts it hits the chassis rail running below the axle at the point where the roll bar is connected. I was just wondering if there is any way to increase the clearance at this point.
