Wipers

I've been messing around with a test lamp and the wiper wiring and from diagrams on this site and other threads that I've followed I've identified that the wiper wiring is as follows;

Black Violet Positive

Brown Earth

Brown White Park

Red Fast

Green Slow

Then we come to attaching them to the column switches which is a new one from RH (possibly Fiesta).

(I've managed to hook up the washer which works fine when the stalk button is pressed :) ).

Where do the wires go to in the column switch  ????

Just a little more information....

The plug on the column stalks has 11 pins on it - some are obviously for the old rear wiper stuff, but which is which?

AUTOSPARKS COLOURS SIERRA COLOURS

fiesta column switch W1 light green/black washer switch to pump

W4 brown/light green red

W5 blue/light green green

W8 red/light green brown/white

W10 green black or black/purple

Graham

We're getting somewhere.

I never had any paperwork! So this is real news.

What are the W references that you use?

The plug just has lots (11 ish) prongs on it. Which W is which W?

Having spent much time trying to work out what wire goes where, I

finally came up with a solution that (like everyone else's) seems unique to my

2B.

So if you have a Sierra wiper motor and an Autosparks loom, then this

may help you.

But I still can't work out how to park the wipers - but other members at Newark said that they had the same problem too.
