Fixing New Seats

Hi all, I have finally bought my new seats for my s7 and am now planning how to fix them in, I have removed 2 box steel sections from inder the old seats which has actually made the new seats sit a couple of inches lower which is good as I'm quite tall!,

 

The only issue now is that I will be bring the seats straight onto fairly thin sheet steel floor, I guess this is not a good idea?, what is the standard way of mounting to the floor, do I need extra strength or can I just go straight onto the floor?

put the box section on the underside of the car to add strength back

There is very good details on this in the IVA manual which I am following for this. Gives specific sizes and thicknesses of reinforcing plates and which side to mount them etc
