Is The Brake Servo Too Close?

Will the brake servo be effected by the heat from the exhaust manifold being this close?

 

Is there a rubber diaphragm inside?

You could fab up a heatshield bracketed off the m/c mount bolts to protect both servo and brake pipes , i have one that does the brake pipes not had any probs even in 90f temps in France mower man

I've run the same set-up for several years with no problem. However I would like to make more room by ditching the servo and fitting a Fiat 126 master cylinder which is supposed to work well.

I've managed to alter the plate the servo it mounted on, so I've got about an inch clearance. I'm interested in ditching the servo though timbo! Is it literally a straight swap for the fiat cylinder?

worth doing a bit more research though. I think it has a smaller piston than the Sierra one so gives good feel but with more pedal movement
