Vicky Green Loom (again)

There are 2 wires on VG loom for connection to donor ignition loom, one is white the other white black and are labeld on wall chart as "to the varoius ignition systems" on Ford Sierra. Does anyone know where exactly these wires connect to! I have tried VG site but to no avail.

is this correct, white black to -ve coil?

 

and if so what is the white wire for?

Hi

 

I've got the escII system . the white wire provides the power to the ignition system and the other end is connected to the ignition switch(you should have the other end near there).

 

The other wire goes to the fev counter from memory.

 

Follow the wiring diagrams that have been posted before plus refer to wiring diagrams in hayes manual.

I had this problem a few weeks ago

 

basically as previously mentioned I have connected the white to the positive side of the Coil along with all of the other connections from teh ECU, and the White and black goes to the negative.

 

This worked perfectly for me and the engine started first time etc.
