Bonnet Riser / Support Struts

Has anyone fitted bonnet risers on their car and if so, what n rating did you use?

I.ve just fitted 2 to my mazda mx5 but cant tell you any details other thanthey are about 300mm extented and hold the bonnet fine took me about an hour to fit [waiting for drill battery to charge hope this is of some use mick

If you're talking about gas struts I used one from a Nissan Micra centrally mounted and that was enough to support a 2B alligator bonnet.

I used 2 of these one each side of the bonnet, it works well I couldn't find anywhere on bonnet that was solid enough to support a gas strut
