Due to the bad weather, it would not be wise to carry on with the Lakes run today, it would be unsafe on the narrow roads with the hoods on, so we will CANCEL it for now.

Just got back from the Lakes. Thanks for the text Jim. I camped Saturday night, it *bleep* down and the tent flapped all night. This morning the cloud was right down and still blowing and raining. Packed up in the wet and set off home. 14 C untill noon when it started brightening up a bit. Came home via Kirkstone and jumped out for ten seconds to take the snap looking west. I will be in the Lakes for a whole week 1st August onwards, hope the weather improves and I will try again.
