Agree completely with Gargoil. The Pinto is so simple to work on, still relatively inexpensive, and makes a decent sound. Not to mention that it's pretty much bullet proof and still going strong around 40 years after introduction.

A zetec may be suitable for some newer cars, but I'm going for keeping this car simple and old school- to me, the engine out of a focus or mondeo just doesn't have the same appeal, and doesn't suit my car.
