Hi andy

I think Iam right in saying that the nuts holding the master cylinder to the servo were never nylocs originaly but just plain nuts and washers. Did SVA say they had to be nylocs, if so will have to change mine  as i have fitted what was on the donor ?

I've used nylocs holding the servo and pedal box to the 3mm plate.

The original master cylinder was fitted using plain nuts and spring washers.

Because the studs on the servo are of reduced diameter for about 4mm - I can't get the full two turns of thread showing through the nyloc nut :(

Oh -- and Well Done Andy :)

Congrats!

Mine has normal nuts & spring washers. A Nyloc without enough thread showing would be deemed worse than this surely??

What would he have said if you'd told him they were loctited??

all i will say is attention to detail !!!!!! if you think it will fail for somthing it probably will, but there does come a point where you have to just bite the bullet and see what they find, i was lucky ;)
