Pinto misfire

Hi all looking for a little help !!

i have a pinto fitted in a Marlin Kit with a strange misfire 

on start up it will run smoothly without any issues for about 15 - 20 seconds then it runs very lumpy and will not rev but stars to misfire.

the engine suffered a engine bay fire which destroyed the distributor,plugs and leads so all parts were replace with new the distributor is pointless with a viper coil

the carb has been fully reconditioned 

if you stop the engine then restart it will do the same again 

 

any ideas ?????

Has the timing been checked or is it an air leak?
