Ignition Wiring

i have the vicki green loom and it has 3 wires for the ignition but there are 5 at the steering column end

 

black and blue

black and yellow

red

2 x yellow

 

i followed the vg instructions and wired them up and left out the yellow but now when the key is turned to position 2 and start - it tries to turn over.

 

if i hold the key to start position it will run fine but once i let it go back to its normal running position it just tries to fire up again.

 

 

Any ideas??

Hi

the instructions on the wall chart are incorrect. The yellow should be left out, that is right, try swapping over the two black wires. Should make all the difference
