Painting Springs

Hi All,

 

Just cleaning up and painting the rear suspension bit's & fitting them to the chassis, and have started wondering what paint I can use on the springs that won't crack and flake off within 5 minutes.

 

Any suggestions out there?.

i had mine powder coated at a place that powder coats gateposts. they ran them through at the end of a big order and charged £5 for the pair. very durable and flexible, should be cheap if you have a look around an industrial estate. hope that helps

worked well for me, just find someone who is doing a run for a company and get them to tack it on at the end so it shouldnt cost too much. i found out i could have done my chassis for £50 as well, instead of spending that on hammerite which was a huge mistake

 

you live and learn etc!
