Hi

I fitted the Mountney Wheel for my sva test. No complaints, didnt query it at all. I had put a small blob of silicone onto the nut heads just in case (and on the dash screw heads) but none were even mentioned.

Thinks its a case of what tester you get.......but i realise this doesnt help your cause!!!

I didnt really have an option cos i cant drive with the sierra steering wheel as there is not enough room.

Neil.

Hi Jim,

I've herd of the Mountney wheel failing on radiuses and being incompatible with the Sierra column, I've also herd (as above) of it passing!

Someone (I forget who) made a cover for it but it wasn't E marked so it failed.

There is an E marked cover for about £15 that people have used and passed okay.

I think the general consensus of opinion is to use the Sierra one for the test, then change it afterwards, If you realy can't use it then use the Mountney with the E marked cover.
