WOW ! ! !

That has GOT to be the biggest thread revival ever ! ! !

It was dead and buried back on 16th June and all of a sudden we get SEVEN (thus far) in ONE DAY and 23 days later at that and TWO before 7:00 AM.

I am absolutely in AWE of the whole thing !

I think I'm going to spend the whole evening checking back through all the posts to see if there is one to beat this ! ! !

Glad to hear so many 'users' are still alive by the way !!!!!

I'm still alive mick, but it shouldn't be too long afore I'm after another fix :) :D , after all the summer hols are on their way

Might have to consider air fed masks though

It's definitely an impressive revival of the thread though!

I sprayed my 2B about 18 months ago ( still not on the road but I am getting there)

and I am still alive and kicking.

I bought the paint fron Autopaint and took their advise not to use 2 pack because of the danger.

They advised a similar product. A base colour coat and a not isocyanate hardner top coat. It looks good to me for an ameteur  and much less health hazard.

I am impressed with the look of the finish you have acheived. A couple of questions...

1) What make of compressor did you use?

2) What paint gun did you use?

3) What was the make of the paint?

I bought the compressor from B&Q as a kit for £99 complete with spray gun, air blowergun and tyre pump with guage. It was my first attempt at spraying so asked the guy at the shop to recommend something. He said the small kit would do the job ok.

The paint was bought from Autopaint in Stockport. I used 4ltr of Jaguar BRG, 2 ltr of non-isocyanate hardener and 5 ltr thinners.

This did about 3 coats of each.

Fred :p
