Rh 4-1 Pinto Exhaust

Guys,

Need some advice on where to get a 4-1 Pinto exhaust.

 

Is the one supplied by RH any good ? or is there a better solution.

 

At present running on original Ford manifold and RH supplied exhaust box and a supply of earplugs !!

 

I have a pair of 40's to put on but seems pointless without sorting the exhaust.

Youre right, fitting huge carbs to a restricted engine, is almost pointless, youre fuel ecomony will hit the moon..

 

Ive heard someone mention that the 4-1 RH exhaust is not a good design, in that the collators (Y pipe section that joins 2 tubes) are too short to be a high performance exhaust..

 

I would look into having a custom fabricated exhaust made for you.. than yo can specify all you want..

 

There not that much either, no more than £200 for a fabricated manifold and complete exhaust I think is good value formoney..

 

If you do look into it, post any details of costs ect.
