Efi Loom (type B) To Vg Loom

Can anyone help me with what VG says is a straightforward connection!!! Do I us the conections from both looms to the alternator? Can I pick up any of the white wires on the VG loom to link to the Black wires from the injection loom? While i am at it do i need to use relays with the VG loom? Many thanks Keith fletcher
