Hi Guys,

 

Further to my recent post re my damaged sump (got it off today eventually) .I did a search for old sump related problems and there was a link for a company called RT Motorsport.They appear to do a sh*t hot welding/fabricating job and all for £50.However the contact us links on their site don't appear to work.

 

So if anyone has a contact number for them I'd appreciate it.I've tried net searchs on the name to no avail (except going back to their site).I think they may be in Peterborough area as they mention Peterborough local DVLA.So as I'm in Northampton they are fairly local.......Regards Jez

tiger racing parts dept is only at the other side of peter'bro from you in thorney, if RT can,t sort you out, but they are a fair bit dearer - £85 + vat and old sump on exchange!

thanks for the offer, but i've got a shortened sump already, was just trying to point jez who started this post to another source of sumps close to him, albeit at sky high prices

That's the exact same link that I found whilst digging through the old sump related posts.However your version works so many thanks for your time matey.

 

Whilst looking through the old sump related posts I found dozens of people have had this same problem.So if RT MOTORSPORTS work is as good as it looks at the price they are quoteing it may be worth listing them in the useful contacts section (if of course there is one)

Hi Guys,

 

After trying everthing posible to contact RT Motorsport including ringing companies in their links section (Non of which had heard of them) I gave up!! I just hope they have plenty of work cos they aren't going to get any from their website.It's a shame cos the picture of the completed job on their site looked excellent.

 

However a RH0CaR member has kindly offered his services to modify my sump.So thanks once again gentlemen.......Regards Jez
