Hi Guys,

Is there actually any physical difference between ABS discs and non-ABS discs??

My donor had ABS, but I have no intention of using it and I want to replace the braking system

Cheers

Jim

When you take your ABS calipers to the Motor factors to exchange them, forget to mention that they are ABS ones and get normal ones instead :D Easy really.

Also disks are only about £12 new so just get a new set of ventilated jobbies while you are there. :D :D

Hi Jim,

at the moment, Robin Hood have got a deal on front brakes. Two brand new Ford callipers with new Brembo discs (solid, not ventilated) for £120. You could probably get unbranded ones from a motor factors cheaper but it's definitely more reasonable than your local Ford dealer! If you live reasonably close to the factory it might be worth checking out? Cheers,

Eddie
