Engine Mounts

Anybody know where to purchase Pinto engine mounts at a reasonable price??? Local suppliers quoting £45+VAT each

I had that problem! they are real expensive.

 

I went to my local scrapy and got one for £10. They even took it off while I waited.

I think that's the route I'll go down, can't afford £90 +Vat for mounts right now.

If you have the wrong mounts...remember to get the arms that attach to the engine as these are different and the 2b needs the alloy mounts.

 

I had this problem as I had an early 2l engine which had the wrong mounts. I too wanted new mounts but I was also quoted £45 each!!! (Where do Ford get their prices?)

Managed to source through a friend a pair of new mounts for £50 inc vat. Thinks this is not a bad deal as I would be £20 plus in thre scrappy for old ones.
