Looking at various car adds I see that the odd one is Q plated does this affect the insurance premium?

Also how much does a hood cost to insure roughly speaking? :huh:

See my post on the "pinned - insurance an alternative to Adrain flux" topic for details of my insurance on my 2B.

 

Far and away the best thing to do is to ring 2 or 3 kit car insurance companies and check out the alternatives. If Q plates are an issue then ask them if it affects the premium. Rules vary from company to company, and companies which are good for some aren't necessarily good for others.
